Kathleen F. Coleman

Kathleen F. Coleman, 93, of Akron, Ohio passed away October 5, 2022, at home. She was born April 30, 1929, in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Herman G. Sigmon and Lettie Gay Codle. On February 23, 1950, she married Raymond M. Coleman Sr. Together they shared 43 years of marriage. Kathleen attended the Charleston School for the Deaf. She enjoyed baking, cooking, reading, sewing, and puzzles. She was a member of Deaf Outreach Church of the Deaf in North Canton and Akron Baptist Temple before the deaf ministry was moved to Deaf Outreach. Kathleen was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and enjoyed family get togethers.

She was preceded in death by husband Ray M. Coleman, Sr.; daughter Arlene E. Coleman-Gibson; and son Thomas W. Coleman. She is survived by son Raymond M. Coleman Jr; son Donald R. Coleman (Pam); daughter Carol L. Coleman-Crane (Ken); son John F. Coleman (Sue); daughter-in-law Sandra Shaffer; grandchildren Rhonda R. Johnson (Chris), Brett Gibson, Kirk Gibson, Rita First (Rob), Angie Coleman, Raejean Gehring, Brittany Dargie (Paul), Don Coleman Jr., Rachel Coleman, Katie Coleman Ellinger, Michelle Shaffer Rollins, Shawna Coleman (Zach), Dustin M. Miracle, Megan (Scott) Arnold, Jonathan (Chelsie) Coleman, and Eva Coleman.

Visitation Monday October 31, 2022, at Deaf Outreach 2200 Greensburg Road North Canton, Ohio 44720 3:00-4:00 PM with Memorial Service at 4:00 followed by dinner at 5:00. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kathleen's name to Deaf Outreach Church.
