Kenneth Lee Barnes

Kenneth Lee Barnes, age 83, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born on October 7, 1942 in Cleveland.

Kenny will be remembered for his quick wit, warm personality, and remarkablemechanical abilities. He could fix almost anything and was always willing to lend a hand to friends and neighbors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved dogs, traveling the neighborhood on his scooter, and striking up conversations wherever he went. His easygoing nature and sense of humor helped him make friends effortlessly throughout his life.

He was the beloved brother of the late Constance Barnes Twigg, Norman Holloway, Irene Chenowith, and Phillip Holloway. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family extends a special and heartfelt thank you to his longtime caregiver and dear friend, Rosemary, for her compassion, dedication, and friendship over the years, as well as the staff at Portage Trail Village where he lived for the last 23 years.

Friends are welcome to join family in a celebration of life at Portage Trail Village in the sixth floor community room at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 16, 2026, 45 Cathedral Lane, Cuyahoga Falls.
