Kenneth Dale Murray, affectionately known as Kenny, was born on September 19, 1970, in Akron, Ohio. He passed away on January 7, 2026, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Kenny exemplified strength and resilience throughout his life, making an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.
For 25 years, Kenny dedicated himself to his career as the manager of Drip Dry Car Wash, where he built lasting relationships with both employees and customers alike. His work ethic and commitment to excellence were apparent in everything he undertook.
Kenny was a devoted husband for 30 years, sharing a loving partnership with his wife, Amy. He was also a cherished son to his parents, Deborah and Lee, and a loving brother to his siblings, Johnny (Tina) and Lorene (Steve). As a proud uncle, he deeply valued the bonds he shared with his nephew Kalen and niece Kylie. His passion for family was matched only by his warmth and kindness towards his close friend Jack Burns and all who came to know him.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Kenny will remember him for his joyous spirit. He loved spending time with his family, a passion that shone through in every interaction. His enthusiasm for watching WWE and shopping brought amusement to his daily life and offered delightful moments for his loved ones.
Kenny is preceded in death by his brother Bobby, along with his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Their memory remains as a cherished part of his legacy.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Akron Summa Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion toward Kenny and their family during such difficult times. Kenny will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. In accordance with the family's wishes, there will be no services held.
