His Nephews and Nieces, Levon, Justin, Edward Jr, Stacy, Leon, Dana, Candice, Stephen, Leia, Jamie, Amanda, Sam, Jo-Beth, Noal and Evan and many great nieces and nephews.
He was so loved by his Ohio, Hawaii and Washington family and friends.
Gibby had an electric personality. He was the true definition of a free spirit, hippie and gypsy. He was always looking for the next adventure which led him to travel to and live in many different places over his lifetime.
He was the greatest Dad, brother, uncle and friend to us all. He loved teaching his son about life, fishing, working on cars, camping and anything in between, being with his boy meant everything to him.
Gibby is one of the reasons why most of us have gotten into writing and playing music. He showed us that music was a way to intertwine your soul with the Earth. He taught us to love everything in life no matter what. He also taught us how to ground ourselves with the beauty of nature. He was the kind of person that always made you feel important, seen, understood and loved.
Gibby was the life of the party, even when there wasn't one- Gibbs was the party! His laugh and smile were so infectious. He would always get us into funny, and crazy situations and make us promise not to tattle.(Like doing donuts and burnouts)!
Gibby loved that "Jazz Cabbage" and the "Babes".He was always dressed like he was going on a sweet safari or an island with his flip flops and hat. He definitely knew how to make anyone laugh, with off the wall things,(like lightning your farts on fire)!
He also had a major sweet tooth, he loved his ice-cream, organic "grub" and those American spirit turquoise cigarettes.
He loved spending time with his friends and family fishing, working on cars, building and riding motorcycles.
He will be missed dearly by so many....there will be a Gibby sized hole in our hearts forever. His love for everyone especially his boy was beyond measure, and he made sure we were shown that every day. He left a lasting impression on everyone that he met.
A few quotes from Gibby....
" Bumblebee tuna Tuesday "
" I love you ,I see you all,I got to pee "
What a good day meant to him as written by him....
Spending time with my son Gage, playing music, riding motorcycles, working with my hands. There's always something to fix.
Until we meet again, its not goodbye but an I'll see you later. Fly higher than high riding that motorcycle in the sky. We miss and love you evermore.
