Kevin Darnell Harvey Sr.

The Lord Giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.  Our Heavenly Father has again reminded us of the uncertainty of human life by calling from us our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and nephew. 

We bow our heads in sorrow and our hearts are heavy for on March 13, 2023 Kevin Darnell Harvey SR. passed into eternal life. 

Kevin Darnell Harvey SR.  was born in Akron, Ohio on October 20, 1962.  He was united in holy matrimony to Allie B. Harvey on July 20, 1985.  To this union 3 children were born On’Tayia, Kevin and Kierra. 

Kevin worked at Children’s Hospital for over 30 years. Kevin was a very loving person.  This showed through in the way that he loved and took care of his wife when she became sick. Peaches would always thank Kevin for taking care of and loving her. (The bible says husbands love your wife as Christ loved the church.)  Kiki would say “DAD you have mom spoiled rotten.”  Kevin would say “That’s what I’m supposed to do.”   Oh Kevin could sing and had a love for music and going to concerts with his wife and when she could no longer attend,he would be at Lock 3 with his youngest daughter Kiki. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and other relatives.  He leaves to mourn their loss wife (soul mate of 45 years) Allie Harvey, son Kevin, daughters On’Tayia and Kierra, granddaughters Kiyryn, Brooklynn Raine, Jersey Skyy, Kyanna and one great grandchild due August 2023. Also father William (Jane) McCloude and mother Barbara Jones,  sister Alene, brothers Anthony and Michael,  mother-in-law Patricia (John) sisters-in-laws Deanna (Jeffery), Sherry and Shannon, special friend Eric Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
