Larry Lee Bowman, 75, passed away May 29, 2025.  He was born January 26, 1950 in Wadsworth, the son of the late Lawrence and Virginia Bowman.  Larry was devout Christian and a proud member of the U.S. Army Airborne and the Shawnee Tribe.  He was a lifetime member of the Native American Iroquois  Association.  He loved to research genealogy and teach and celebrate his Indian heritage, especially with his grandchildren.  In his free time, Larry enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting.  He will always be remembered as a humble, smart and resourceful person.  Professionally, Larry retired as a Journeyman pattern maker with Ohio Aluminum.  In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brother Gary Bowman; son Larry Lee Bowman Jr.; and son-in-law Robert Pelfrey.  He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Jan-Ellen Bowman; daughter Crystal Lynn Pelfrey; son Michael David (Jennifer) French; daughter-in-law Ashley Beck; grandchildren Kaiden, Darien Jamal, Harrison, Celeste, Richard, Reece, Carlie, Aiden, Ava, George, and Ingrid; great grandchildren Bryce and Evelyn; his sisters Denise Demerling and Anita Lynn Bowman; brother-in-law Marc (Martha) French; sister-in-law Cheri (Bud) Sudar; as well as John Cameron.  Per his wishes cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
