Lawrence Bell of Doylestown, Ohio, age 89, passed away at home on September 8, 2020.
He was born on July 1, 1931 to and preceded in death by Reverend Sam and Cora Jane Sizemore Bell of Rhodell, West Virginia.
Lawrence is survived by his wife, Mary Hayworth Bell (married December 21, 1950) and three sons Larry Wade Bell (Hurricane, WV), Billy Joe (Deborah) Bell (Madison, FL) and Anthony P.
(Kathy) Bell (Canal Fulton, OH), as well as four grandsons, Michael Askew, Seth Askew, Cody James Bell and William Floyd Brewster.
Lawrence retired from Westmoreland Coal Company as a Superintendent at the Riffe Branch Division and served as a federal mine inspector and as a Police Chief for Rhodell, West Virginia.
A short family service was held for Lawrence and he will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley, West Virginia.
