Stagger Lee Brown Jr., known for his rhythmic beats and unwavering friendship, passed away on February 29, 2024, in Kent, Ohio, at the age of 78. Born on May 15, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, he was a dedicated father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, and friend. Leo, as he was also known, was a proud Army National Guard member and a skilled drummer who graced many bands with his talent for over 40 years. His career spanned from drumming to construction work, showcasing his versatility and work ethic. Leo's love for music transcended into his personal life, where he found solace in playing the drums and connecting with others through his music. His hobbies included hunting and engaging in CB radio communication. He leaves behind a legacy cherished by many, including his sister Sharon, sister Flora Mae Zenner, children Virginia, Janice, and Lee, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leo was preceded in death by his father Leo H Brown Sr, mother Ruby Brown, brothers Robert, JR, and Albert, sister Joanne, wife Janice R. Brown, daughters Sandra and Marsha, and son Ronnie. A man of faith, Leo found comfort and community at Maplewood Christian Church in Ravenna, Ohio.
