Linda Lou Grant

Linda Lou Grant, age 79, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026.

Born on September 18, 1946, in Akron, Ohio, Linda lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

Linda shared nearly 50 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Raymond Grant. She is also survived by her daughter, Kelly (Fred) Bennington; granddaughter, Ashlea Bennington; and great-grandson, Zander Woods. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Grace Hale, and her sister, Charlotte Rupert.

Linda dedicated more than 20 years of her career to working as a cleaner, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dependability.

At home, Linda found happiness in the simple things. She enjoyed watching her favorite soap operas, Wheel of Fortune, and other game shows, and she loved spending time with her faithful dog and three beloved cats. She found joy in the comfort of home and the company of those she loved. Linda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date.
