Lynette Adkins, 62, of Akron, passed away on March 19th, 2026.

She was a devoted mother and grammy above all. Lynette’s life was centered around her family, and she took great pride in the love and care she gave to those closest to her. She was known for her humorous spirit, bringing laughter and light to those around her. She cherished her family deeply, especially her grandbabies, as she lovingly called them. Her love for them was unconditional and everlasting, and they brought her immeasurable joy. Lynette also shared her life with her beloved cat, Hobbs, who was her pride and joy and a constant companion.

Preceded in death and together again with the love of her life, Robert Adkins, and her mother, Rosemary Holland.

Lynette is survived by her father Bill Holland; son, Ryan Adkins and daughter, Melissa Prietz; grandchildren, Payton, Liam, Karsyn, and Ellisyn; sister’s Lisa Holland and LeeAnn (John) Chiarappa; brother Bill (Amanda) Holland Jr, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her best friend, Chris Clemons.

She will be deeply missed by her children, her grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her. Her presence brought comfort and stability, and her memory will remain a lasting source of love for her family and friends.

Lynette’s legacy lives on through her family, who will carry her love with them always.
