Margaret West Noel

Margaret Noel, 90, of Uniontown and formerly of Bedford, entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Mulberry Gardens Memory Care under the comforting care of hospice and the wonderful staff at Mulberry Gardens.

She was born November 26, 1932, in Marietta, OH the daughter of the late Roy West and Maymie Patterson West.

Margaret graduated from Bedford High School and attended Bedford Assembly church. 

For the last 10 years she attended and was a member of The Light in Kent church where she took part in Bible studies, helped with setting up the church for services and special outreach events. 

Margaret worked at FabriCenters, now known as JoAnn Fabrics, for over 20 years as the Executive secretary to the President.

Margaret loved her family and supported her husband and children as they spent weekends traveling and singing for many years.  She enjoyed anytime she could be with her family, and she was so very proud of them.  She put them first above everything in her life except her love for the Lord.  She prayed for her children and grandchildren daily without fail and loved the Lord with all her heart.

Margaret is survived by her son Lawrence (Mary) Noel of Tallmadge and daughter Sandra (Roy) Holliday of Windham; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. 

Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by the love of her life, David whom she married on July 17, 1954, and her sister, Marilyn Harris.

A private memorial service celebrating Margaret will take place later.

The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Margaret’s name to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Uniontown, OH.
