Marguerite Stiffler France

Marguerite Stiffler France, age 81, passed away on September 6, 2026. Born on January 30,1945 in Cleveland Ohio, Marguerite was a long-time resident of Richfield, Ohio.

Marguerite was the beloved daughter of the late Harry and Clara (Zajdek) Stiffler. She was the loving mother of Wendy Peterson (Steve, deceased), Sandi Mruk (Dave), Thomas France, Angela Samartano (Salvatore) and Nicole France. She was a loving sister to Harry Stiffler, deceased (Diane), Dennis Stiffler (Lauren), and Gail Bunce. She was the cherished grandmother of Casie Vespa, Cortney Schrank (Gary), Gabriela France, Matthew Peterson (Caitlin), Thomas Stafford, Jacob Peterson (Madi), Caliana and Cameron Cruz, Vivian and Benjamin France. She was also the proud great-grandparent of Henry and Hayley Schrank and Cade Peterson.

 Marguerite enjoyed a successful career as a commercial real-estate agent in the Akron area. Outside of her career, she was a remarkably creative and talented woman. An accomplished artist and exceptionally skilled knitter, she found joy in creating beautiful things with her hands. She also loved gardening, painting, crocheting, reading, and spending time in nature. These simple pleasures reflected her creativity, curiosity and appreciation for the beauty around her. 

Marguerite had an unforgettable presence and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her creativity, talents, and unique spirit will live on through the many lives she touched. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate Marguerite’s life. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who loved her.
