Marian Nancy Ripley

On August 14, 2026, Jesus reached down and gently took Marian Nancy Ripley into His arms to rest.

Marian was born on March 7, 1946 to Charles LBall, Sr and Margia LBal. She was a resident of Barberton and Akron area most of her life. She was a member of Greater Galilee Church, Bishop Emmitt Lee and New Covenant Church, Pastor Robert Lee. Marian was Baptized at an early age by Rev. Warner Powe and sang in the choir and was a member of the B& G Club at the church.

Marian attended Barberton Public schools and was employed by Barberton Citizens Hospital. Her employment continued at Matured Services and Rolling Acres Mall.

Bowling and cooking and dancing were her main activities and always ready to lend a listening ear.

Marian was preceded in death by: Parents Charles, Sr and Margia LBall, Grandmother Nancy Mize, Son, Gregory P Ball, Brothers: Troy, Gilbert (Suzanne) Bal and Charles Ball, Jr. Sisters: Garnetta Hampton, and Charlene Ball. Great granddaughter, Mireya Lynn Crum.

Marian leaves to cherish her memories: Sister, Mabel Cheatham, Daughter Annette (Kipper) Simmons and Sons: Marcellus (Debbie) Ripley, James (Jimmy) Ripley and Cuban Hamilton. Niece Amanda McKinnie, DeSire (Byron) Parks and Nephew: DaRell (Lisa) Ball.

Grand Children: Bianca, Brittany, Breanna, Darren, Margia, Kashia, Princess, James Nathaniel, Marian and Great Great Grandchildren. Special Caregivers Robin Jackson and Nicky Golden.
