Marie Annette Studer

Marie Annette Studer, 53, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024. Born on March 3, 1971, in El Paso, Texas, to Ginette and Gilbert Bartlett, Marie was the cherished eldest of three siblings.

Marie was a compassionate and genuine individual, known for her unwavering authenticity. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, always deeply involved in the lives of those she cherished. Her passions included gardening, crocheting, and nurturing all things green. A brave breast cancer survivor, Marie's resilience was evident when she faced a diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer two years ago. Despite the challenges, she fought courageously, maintaining a smile until her final moments.

Marie is preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Bartlett; her grandmother, Ludowika Bartlett; and her best friend, Deanna Glover Watkins. She is survived by her loving mother, Ginette Bartlett; her brother, Gilbert Bartlett II; and her sister, Andrea Van Pelt. Marie's memory will be especially cherished by her devoted husband, Mark Studer; her strong and beloved daughter, Mileena Studer; and her charismatic grandson, Lyric Lane.

Visitation will be 1 PM to 3 PM Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home 791 East Market St., Akron, OH, Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 PM. Chaplin Kevin DeJournett will officiate.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home 330-535-9186.
