Marilyn L Ramey

Marilyn L. Ramey, 79, died on April 19, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She is preceded in death by her parents Max and Minerva Laroue of Sault Ste Marie Ontario Canada, and beloved husband Larry R. Ramey of Akron, Ohio. Marilyn leaves behind daughter Traci Morrison (John) of Akron, son Troy Ramey of Medina, grandchildren Nicole, Alexa, JJ, Clay, Ryan, Angelina, and Matthew. She was a treasured Nana to all of them. She also leaves behind great grandchildren, Bryce, Audrina and Mila Jo, Sister-in-law (Bestie) Lynette Ramey, lifelong best friend Judy Hendry (Larry) of Sault Ste. Marie, and her brother Dale Laroue of Sault Ste. Marie.

Marilyn was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, Canada until she moved to Akron, Ohio in 1965. She became a U.S. Citizen in 2005.

Thanks to Harmony Cares Hospice of Uniontown for such a great care and support. My husband John and our children have been with me on this long journey and their help, support, and love has been constant. Special thanks to my mother-in-law Pat; she moved back home at the perfect time and has been my helper and aide these last two months.
