Marjorie L. Metcalf, 93, passed away December 20, 2023. She was born May 3, 1930 in Akron, the daughter of the late Rollin and Bessie Gregg. Marjorie will always be remembered as a hardworker who was never afraid to share what was on her mind. She had an infectious laugh, a big heart, and was always ready to help others and would give you anything. “Marjorie lived with and was cared for the last three years by her daughter Rebecca Metcalf. She actually cared for her mother her entire life taking her to all her appointments, visiting relatives, friends and many vacations. Marjorie loved all animals and cared for many cats and dogs over the years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Marshall Dale Metcalf; sons Gary Wayne Metcalf, Douglas Eugene Metcalf, and Claude Rollin Metcalf; daughter Regina Ann Tabor; sister-in-law Marilyn LaFollette and special friend Icie Hinkle whom she talked to regularly. Marjorie is survived by her son Cary Marshall (Teri) Metcalf; daughter Rebecca May Metcalf; grandchildren Angela Kramer (James), Heather Jennings (Billy), Louella Starkweather (Bob), Dena Williams, Kenny Metcalf, Christopher Metcalf(Addy), Dawn Brown (Lawrence), Charles Murphy and Todd Metcalf; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 E. Market St.), where funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 2nd at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg. Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
