Mark J Alto

Mark J. Alto, 71, of Rootstown, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, May 9, 2026. He was the son of Frank and Mary (Daniels) Alto being born on August 22, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri.

He worked in IT, at Nestle Foods in Solon, Ohio, for 35 years. Collecting many types of memorabilia, baseball, and traveling to US National Parks were some of his greatest pastimes. He prided himself on giving each day his all while still holding true to himself. Being genuine, passionate, and kind-hearted are just a few of his strengths. He could talk to anyone and make them laugh within seconds. That laugh and smile would brighten anyone’s day.

Those who will cherish his memory include his wife, Diane; his children, Cassandra and Tyler; two grandsons, Gavin and Wyatt; along with family and friends.

He’s preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

To honor his final wishes, cremation has already taken place with a private service at St. Joseph Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd. in Mogadore, Ohio.
