Mary Lou Bulgrin (nee Young), age 84, passed away peacefully at Grace House Akron on June 13, 2024 following a short illness. She was born October 4, 1939 in Akron, Ohio, graduated from Central High School, and was employed by Cook Motor Lines as a keypunch operator and as a claims processor for Alside. She was an avid flower gardener, enjoyed cooking and hosting family holiday parties, and was a pet-lover who frequently took in stray animals.
Mary Lou was the beloved wife for 50 years of the late Edward K. Bulgrin, and was also preceded in death by her parents Charles H. Young and Edna H. Hentosz (nee Ayres). She is survived by her son Charles E. Bulgrin (Kathy) of Tallmadge, three step-children; Gerald Bulgrin (Cathy) of Norton, Rebecca Murphy (Houston) of Alexandria, Virginia, and Vicki Tabib of Monterey, California, as well as 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Cremation services will be handled by Adams Mason Funeral Home. A memorial service and celebration of Mary Lou's life will be held July 5, 2024 at 2 p.m. for friends and family at the home of her son Charles Bulgrin, 595 Timothy Dr., Tallmadge Ohio.
