Mary Fay Machamer

Mary Fay Machamer (Granny), 89, passed away peacefully March 14, 2026 at the home of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, where she had lived for the last eight months. She treasured all her family but anyone who knew her knew that her great-grandchildren were especially dear to her. Even towards the end, she would light up with joy when her great-great grandbaby, Annalise, would come over to visit. Granny enjoyed get-togethers and had an outfit with matching jewelry for every occasion and holiday. One of her favorite activities was to enjoy a margarita with friends and family at Uncle Tito’s Mexican Restaurant.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Albert (Babe) Machamer, parents Buron and Mertie Freeman, sisters Naomi Hargett and Billie Sue Criss, and brothers James Henry, Jo Ed, Buron Junior, Charles, and Willian (Buddy). Mary Fay is survived by her children Donna Gorman, Mark (Judy) Millhoff Sr, and Tim (Theda) Millhoff, sisters Dorothy Adams and Barbara (John) Regallis, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Cremation has taken place. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the charity of choice.
