Merrill Timothy Conwell

Merrill Timothy Conwell, 66, passed away August 15, 2026.  Merrill was born May 10, 1960 in Akron, the son of the late Roy L. and Sara J. Conwell.  He graduated in 1979 from Buchtel High School.  Merrill will always be remembered as a man of great character.  He loved to be around his family and friends.  He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.  Merrill had a special affection and love of animals.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Alan Fuller.  Merrill is survived by his son Antonio Dawkins; siblings Debra (David) Jeffries, Roy (Alice) Conwell Jr., Michael Conwell, Steve (Sharon) Conwell, Kathy Fuller, and Demetrius (Leanna) Conwell; special friends Jenett and Preston Andrus; as well as many other family and friends.  Visitation and gathering will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 27, 2026 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
