Nelson Eddy Turner

Nelson Eddy Turner, 87, went home to be with the Lord August 7, 2025. Eddy was born October 1, 1937 in Akron. He will always be remembered as a Godly man who was generous and loyal. He was stubborn and head strong, but in a way that you could always respect him. His love for his family was always pure. Each day he loved to go on walking paths and to spend time with his family. Eddy retired from the City of Akron Water Department after many years of service to raise and care and to be a father figure for his grandson Nicholas. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patricia Turner; son Bobby Turner; and his daughter Mary Turner. Eddy is survived by his grandson Nicholas (Kristian) Turner and their children Sonny and Chase; daughter Jackie Zwisler and her children Jack, Daniel, and Patricia; one living sister; as well as dear friend who was like a daughter Becky Green Pallotta . Per his wishes Eddy will be cremated and his family will celebrate his life.  He will be loved and remembered forever.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
