Dr. Pat T. Leelani

Dr. Pat Leelani (Sompetch Leelanitkul), 80, passed away January 25, 2025.  Dr. Leelani graduated from the University of Akron, and taught civil engineering at Texas A&M University for 44 years.  He was also considered a master noodle maker by his family.  Pat is preceded in death by his wife Dee Leelani, stepdaughter Rhonda Peterson, stepson Mark Peterson and his grandson Larry Lay.  He is survived by his step daughters Renee (Dave) Pratt and Roslyn Peterson; grandchildren Shannon, Rachelle, Jessica, Brandon, Mackenzie, Natalie, Jill, and Luke; and many great grandchildren.  Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place in Kingsville, TX at a later date.
