Patricia "Patti" Dougherty

Patricia “Patti” Dougherty, of Stow, joined her loved ones in heaven on February 8^th, 2023, at the age of 79.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, as well as a cancer survivor of over 20 years! She was a proud graduate North High School and earned her teaching degree from the University of Akron.

Patti was preceded in death by husband Jerry, mother Frances, Father Mickey and brother Donald Mittiga. She is survived by her children Brian (Leslie), Keith (Anne), Colleen (Derek), Paul (Sarah); grandchildren Spencer, Wyatt, Sophie, Matthew, Hannah, Owen, Austin, Marissa and Natalie; brothers Albert (Cindy) and David (Gail).

Patti held several jobs of which she was always recruiting friends and family in her endeavors.   She had many hobbies which included being an avid reader and it was a rare occurrence when she did not have a book with her.  She was a true bargain hunter whether that was couponing, garage sales or thrift store shopping, she was always looking for a good deal.  She had the gift of gab and would talk to and make conversation with virtually anyone and everyone she met.

Mass of Remembrance will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls on February 18 at 10 AM.
