Ralph A Braun

Ralph A. Braun, age 79, of Novelty, Ohio, passed away on January 23, 2026. He made his home in Novelty after marrying his beloved wife, Charleen Dowling Braun, in 1976.

Ralph was a loving father and father-in-law to Jennifer (David Maravola) and Therese (Chris Farnen). He was born in Washington, D.C., to Godfrey and Florence Braun (née Stolfa), the second of three sons. He grew up on Dana Place with his older brother, George (Judy), and younger brother, David (Kathy Daniel).

He attended St. John’s Military High School in upper Northwest Washington, D.C., and later Dayton College. Ralph and Charleen were longtime members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Chagrin Falls.

Ralph enjoyed gardening, collecting items to fix up, and had a deep appreciation for good fruit and food.

A memorial service will be held in mid-spring. Interment will be private with the family.
