Raymond A. Coury

Raymond A. Coury, 92, passed away after a battle with lung cancer on January 1, 2024.  He was born March 25, 1931 in Cambridge, Ohio, the son of the late George and Susan Coury.  Raymond served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He worked for many years at Teledyne Rubber in Hartville, Ohio.  Raymond will always be remembered as a gentleman who loved helping people.  In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Melissa Coury.  Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary A. Coury; sons Raymond Andrew Coury Jr., Mark Coury, Glenn (Michelle) Coury, and Vince Coury; grandchildren Michael (Brittany) Coury, Rachel (Ethan) Plymire, Sarah (Ryan) Fissel, Mikala (George) Moresea, Macey (Brock) Tissot, Shira Coury, Matthew (Jessica) Coury, and Lina Coury; 11 great grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.

A memorial mass will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260.  Burial to follow.  Celebration of life will be at St. Peter's of The Fields Church Hall (3487 Old Forge Road, Rootstown, Ohio 44272 at 12:00 PM.  Donations to the Randolph Food Shelf may be made by writing the check to St. Joseph Catholic Church, in memo food shelf in memory of Ray Coury.  Donations may be mailed to the church at 2643 Waterloo Road Mogadore, Ohio 44260.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
