Rebecca Rose Wildes Hickman

Rebecca Hickman, 60, passed into eternal grace in the early morning hours of April 7th, 2024, with her family close by.

 Rebecca was born October 16th, 1963, in Struthers, Ohio, to the late Fred and Rose Wildes. She graduated from Struthers High School, class of 1983, and continued on to work for Brentwood Originals in Youngstown for 36 years. Rebecca was a lifelong area resident, having resided on the West Side of Youngstown, Ohio, before moving back to Struthers later in life.

 A fierce soul, she enjoyed going on walks, traveling, drinking coffee, and attending flea markets. Ultimately, she loved spending time with her family.

 Rebecca is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth A Hickman II, with whom she built her home. A son, Kenneth (Tammy) Hickman III of New Middletown. A daughter, Nicole (Nicholas) Gordon of Austintown. Three siblings, Jackie Tate of Austintown, Fred (Mary) Wildes of Struthers, and Patty (Butch) Heafke of Austintown. A brother-in-law, Ed (Kathy) Thompson of Mississippi, and a sister-in-law, Marion (Leonard) McKenzie of West Point, Ohio. Rebecca also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Temperance, Serenity, Ariel, Wyatt, and Marlayna. Two brothers, Edward and David, preceded her in death.

Per Rebecca's wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A private family gathering may be held at a later date.
