Rex D. Tooley

Rex D. Tooley, 64, of Ravenna, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

A son of the late Minard E. and Constance “Connie” Tooley, he was born on May 30, 1962, in Wooster, Ohio.

He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather whose strong work ethic defined his life. He spent many years as a truck driver, a career he took great pride in. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and watching sports, especially cheering on the Cleveland Indians and the Dallas Cowboys.

Those left to mourn him include his son, Chad (Alyssa) Tooley; three grandchildren, Brooklynn, Brianna, and Brayden Tooley; two brothers, Roger and Ron Tooley, and sister, Diane “Sis” Tooley.

Preceding him in death along with his parents were two brothers, Gene Tooley and Rick Tooley.

A Celebration of Life and inurnment at Congress Cemetery in West Salem, Ohio, will be held at a future date.
