Richard Edgar Denny

Richard Edgar Denny, 88, passed away June 23, 2026.  "Denny" was born August 8, 1937 in Akron, the son of the late Olin and Odessa Denny.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 37 years of service, and was also involved in construction work.  Denny will always be remembered as a hard working and friendly man.  In his earlier years, he enjoyed traveling, boating and going to the casino.  Throughout his life he loved to go fishing, playing cards and watching a good TV show.  Denny is survived by his wife of 19 years, Vicki Denny; children Michael Denny, Stephen (Debra) Denny, Sharon (Virgil) Emerick, Jeffery (Traci) Denny, and Richard (Sharon) Lemmon; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be 11:30 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street), where a memorial service will immediately follow at 12:30 PM.  Pastor Jake Tovissi will officiate.  He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military rites at 2:15 PM.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
