Richard Hubert Herrington

Richard Hubert Herrington, age 80, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. He was Born June 25, 1946 to Bertha and Hubert Herrington in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Dick, as he was known, will be lovingly remembered for his eternal devotion to his wife Deanna Herrington, and his love for his son, Chard Herrington. Thanks to his tireless work ethic, and dedication to his family he and Deanna turned a house once advertised as "the ugly duckling" into a most pleasant and happy home. His bravery and loyalty to his country as a United States Marine, Battery H, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1969, and his athleticism as the premiere half back for Wiley High School will not be forgotten.

A military service will be held in his honor at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on October 5, 2026 at 9:45 am, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio 44270

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to fund a memorial piece that will be in Dick's honor to be displayed at the Herrington home. Any leftover funds after it's creation will be donated to the VFW on the family's behalf. Please send any donations to Adams Mason Funeral Home 791 E.
