Richelle Leigh Powers, 56, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2026. Born on March 21, 1970, in Canton, Ohio, Richelle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives.
Richelle was the beloved wife of Chris Powers. Together they built a life centered around family, friendship, and helping others. She was a devoted mother to Michael (Rayel) Franks, Ryan (Kathy) Franks, Sean (Kristen) Powers, Stefanie (Justin) Gallegos, and Dylan (Brooke) Powers. She was also a proud grandmother to Liam Beatty, Ella Gallegos, Easton Gallegos, Emme Gallegos, and Everly Powers, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.
She is survived by her siblings, Debbie Harrell, Bob Harrell, Joanne Stout, Doug Harrell, and Mike Cooper, along with a large extended family and many dear friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Geraldine Belopotosky.
Richelle attended Perry High School and later earned her GED. She spent ten years working for GE as a Business Analyst in Information Technology before joining her husband in building their company, CNR Solutions. Together, they grew the business over nearly sixteen years through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to serving others.
Known by many as the kindest and most giving person they had ever met, Richelle had an extraordinary ability to connect with people. In fact, her business card proudly carried the title "Goddess of Connectivity," a fitting description for someone who never met a stranger and could make anyone feel welcome. In 2018, she returned home to help care for her parents and later selflessly assisted in caring for her sister, always placing the needs of others before her own.
Richelle loved spending time on the water, enjoying days on the boat, visiting the beach, and embracing the outdoors. She was an exceptional cook who delighted in feeding family and friends, often gathering loved ones around her table. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and hospitality, reflecting the generous spirit that defined her life.
Above all, Richelle's greatest gift was the love she shared with others. Her compassionate heart, unwavering support, and genuine care for those around her created lasting friendships and memories that will be treasured forever.
A celebration of Richelle's life will be announced at a later date.
