Roberta Miller

Roberta (Newsome) Miller, 87, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Colony Healthcare Center in Tallmadge, OH. She was born 1938 in Hi Hat Kentucky and was a resident of Lakemore, Ohio. She was a faithful member of Lakeview Lighthouse Church and she was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and always honored God in word and deed. She had a wonderful relationship with Jesus and loved to tell people about His mercy and grace.

She was preceded in death by her Father - Alvin Newsom, her Mother - Nannie Newsome, Son - Bert Donathan lll, Grandsons - Timothy Young, and Bobby Gene Donathan. Brothers - Delmer Newsom, Talmer Newsom, Ellis Newsom, Earshal Dean Newsom, Charles Newsom, and Ronnie Newsom. Sisters - Clara Jean Morris, Evelyn (Peachie) Adkins, and Martha Reynolds.

She was survived by her Husband Ira Miller, Jr of Lakemore, Ohio. Brothers - Bobby Ray Newsome - Teaberry KY, and James Newsom - Betsy Lane KY. Sister - Cindy Newsome Hamilton - Ashboro NC. Children - Rettie (Retta) Skeens of Ashland, KY, Doyle Donathan of Newcomerstown, OH, and Phillip Donathan lll of North Carolina. Grandchildren – Christina, Jared, Roberta, Shelby, Ben, Rettie (Retta), Eva, Dillon, Misty, Jayden, Cayden, Bert, Bryant, Dustin, Bella, Tyler, and an array of other family members and friends.
