Has been received by Jesus Christ after a short illness.

An army vet and a cartoonist for the Suburbanite for many years, he retired from Goodyear aerospace and was a very gifted artist. He wrote and illustrated several books, including "the pussy willow tree" where he wrote about being homeless during the depression.

Dad was an avid hunter and angler and had many adventures with his friend of 60 years, Leroy Deel.

More than anything else, he was a member of Cornerstone church and Christian who loved God and lived to serve the lord his entire life.
People were always telling dad how he changed their life through the gospel of Jesus Christ, and he loved listening to their stories of their renewed spirit.

Ron had 2 daughters, Terri (Anthony) Covarrubia and Linda (Al) Drassen
Grandchildren Adam, Jaqueline and Alexandria (Alex)
(KyraJean and Seth)
Great grandchildren Audrey and Aaliyah
And Stepsons Dana, Greg & Everett
(Special friends Brenda & Loretta)

Proceeded in death by his loving wife of 30 years Patricia Elaine (Pat) Rush
Father, Bill Rush
Brother, Gary Rush
Sister, Virginia Rush
(Second wife Connie Rush)
granddaughter Alexandria (Alex) (1998-2021)

A graveside memorial has taken place at Glendale cemetery where he and mom were laid to rest together in the cremation garden
