Scott Allen Anderson

January 3, 1957 — February 17, 2024

Scott Allen Anderson, a man whose hands crafted beauty and whose heart exuded kindness, bid farewell to this world on February 17, 2024, after bravely facing a relentless battle with cancer. Born on a crisp day in 1957 in El Paso, TX, he went on to leave an indelible mark on the world of jewelry making.

Scott's journey through life was adorned with creativity and artistry. Graduating from Steven F. Austin University with an art degree, he embarked on a career that would see him become well-versed in the intricacies of jewelry making. His expertise extended to model making, where he painstakingly crafted wax molds - the initial step in the delicate dance of designing exquisite pieces of jewelry that would captivate hearts and minds alike.

Beyond his professional achievements, Scott was known for his gentle soul and caring nature. Those who knew him best would attest to his kindness that shone through every interaction. His creativity knew no bounds as he channeled his artistic spirit into a multitude of mediums - whether it be drawing, painting, sculpting, or the meticulous craft of jewelry designing; each creation was a testament to his boundless imagination.

In his moments of respite, Scott found joy in simple pleasures - grilling meats to perfection, breathing life into century-old cabins and homes through restoration projects, and bringing forth beauty from raw materials through his various artistic pursuits. His hobbies mirrored the depth of his character and the richness of his passions.

Scott leaves behind a legacy that will echo through the generations. In the embrace of cherished memories are those who will forever hold him dear: his beloved wife, Dawn Anderson; his father, Jack Anderson; mother, Shirley Anderson; sister Trisha (Ted) Mohle; daughter Emalia Anderson; grandson Zane Anderson; sister-in-law Julianna (Walter) Zimmerman; as well as three nephews, two nieces, and seven great-nieces and nephews.

As we bid adieu to Scott Allen Anderson, we remember not only the artist and craftsman but also the compassionate soul whose light will continue to illuminate the lives he touched. May his spirit soar free among the stars he once admired, eternally creating beauty in the vast canvas of eternity.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Summa Health Systems, the Stephen Comunale Cancer Foundation, and Stewart Care Place, for all of the care and support provided not only to Scott but the family as a whole.

A celebration of life will be held at a future time.
