Shawn Jason Conley

Shawn Jason Conley, 51, passed away December 15, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer.  He was born October 20, 1972 in Akron.  Shawn will always be remembered as a grumpy guy who had a heart of gold.  He was passionate about riding his Harley in his free time.  He was a devoted father and always wanted the best for his children.  Shawn was very resourceful and helped fix family cars and was an excellent handy man.  Shawn was also affectionately known as a “Pappy” Shawn by the grandchildren in the family.  Shawn is preceded in death by his grandparents Dwayne “Poppy”  and Virginia “Granny” McFadden; grandmother Lena Rice; aunt Sheila Gerhart; and his father Greely Conley.  He is survived by his mother Suzanne Stanich; daughters Nevaeh, Seiriaf, and Maya; fiancé Billie Felter; uncle Eric (Jill) McFadden; cousins Mark (Connie) Gerhart, Michael Attwood, and Heather (Ken) McFadden- Keogh; sister Denise; brother Michael; stepchildren Matthew, Tabitha, Richard, Breanna, Zyler, and Vikki; mother-in-law Vikki “Nanny”; as well as many other family and friends.  Visitation will be 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 E. Market Street), where funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon.  Pastor Mark Ritinger officiating.  Shawn will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
