Shirlee J. Sonoff

Shirlee J. Sonoff, 88, of Akron, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026.

A daughter of the late Norman and Nellie (Frieman) Lazar, she was born on May 25, 1937, in Akron, Ohio.

Shirlee was loved by everyone that knew her. She will be remembered for her strength and the love she freely gave to everyone around her.

Those left to remember her include are her children, Pamela (Terry) Beitzel, Kimberlee Ritch, Andrew (Shelly) Ritch; grandchildren,, Scott Kaiser, Heather Beitzel, Daniel Ritch, Jacklyn Ritch; and three great grandchildren; and sister Sue Sokolovits.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Daniel Ritch and George Sonoff, sister Sandy Siroki, and her son, David Ritch.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place.
