Steven Lee Hazelett, 65, passed away on September 12, 2025, in Akron, Ohio.

Born on June 23, 1960, Steven lived a life marked by deep family connections and a love for the outdoors. He was a devoted husband to Sharon Hazelett and a proud father to his daughters Cissy Tacchio (Gary II) and Stephanie Hazelett (Michael). His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Avery, Ava, Giovanni, and Leo.

Steven was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Angel Lee Hazelett; his parents, Florance and William Hazelett; and his brothers Scott and Jimmy Hazelett. Though their absence was deeply felt throughout his life, Steven carried their memory with him always.

Among Steven’s favorite pastimes was fishing—a hobby that brought him peace and joy. Whether casting a line into quiet waters or sharing stories along the shore, he found solace in nature’s rhythm. His loyal dog Dolly was often by his side, a constant companion who brought comfort and companionship.
