Susann Sharish

Susann (Messersmith) Sharish, 86,of Kent, Ohio, passed away on July 5, 2024 at home of natural causes.

 Susann Sharish was born in 1938 in Niles, Ohio to parents Roy Messersmith and Magel Patchen. She was born at home and the doctor misspelled her name on the birth certificate so she will forever be unique. She was a graduate of Warren High School . She was an avid gardener with a green thumb outdoors and a black thumb indoors. She was also a ride or die girl open to go on any adventure anyone gave. She loved to watch the Cleveland Browns and yell at the referees. She is in heaven right now waiting for them to win a super bowl. She was also the best storyteller we've ever known. Her family friends and neighbors will miss her bright outlook, quirky sense of humor, and sensible advice.

 She loved her Grandchildren Michael Sharish,Maranda Opie,Candice(Nick) Hoffmann,Emily (Steve) Trunzo and spoiled them rotten.

 As much as Susann loved her Grandchildren; she loved her Great-Grandchildren more. She often bragged about having 10 Great Grandchildren: Thomas, Joseph, Lillian, Braxton, Naomi, Valerie,and Penelope. She also loved Step-Great Grandchildren: Natalee, Nikolas, and Ayden.

 Susann was part of a large family including brothers Jack Messersmith(D),Tommy Messersmith(D), Terence (Paula) Messersmith and one sister Joan (Jack) Campbell (D) and numerous nieces and nephews.

 She had five surviving children, Randall Thomas Sharish, Melanie Lynne Sharish, Stephen Glenn Sharish, Mollie Anne (Jeff) Burns, and Laura Lee Mildred White. Her daughter Sally Sue predeceased her.
