Teressa Lynn Staines

Teressa Lynn Staines, born on September 24, 1958, passed away on December 28, 2025, surrounded by love.

Teressa was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished time spent with her family and especially loved watching her grandchildren grow. Her life was defined by love, compassion, and a deep commitment to those closest to her.

She was a proud mother to Robert Cunningham, Greg Cunningham, and Tim Cunningham (Melissa), and a loving grandmother to Payton, Cayden, Landen, Camden, Chelsea, Dakota, Keegan, and Jordan.

Teressa was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Clyne Johnson and Marjorie Ruthalene Johnson, her brothers, Doug and Chris and sister Lisa.

She is survived by her sister, Benita, along with many family members and friends who will forever remember her warmth and kindness.

Services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 2 to 3 pm at Adams Mason Funeral Home, 791East Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44305. A

Celebration of Life will follow from 4 to 9 pm at Goodyear Metro Park Lodge, 2077 Newton Street, Akron, Ohio 44305.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
