Terry M. Hackman

Terry M. Hackman, 77, of Green, Ohio passed away 9-2-23 at Summa City Hospital in Akron, Ohio following many medical conditions. He was born 9-14-45 in Barberton, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Helen Hackman. On 6-8-91, he married Deborah. Together they shared 32 years of marriage.

Terry graduated from Mogadore High School in 1963. He was an Army Veteran from 1963-1968; where he served in Vietnam. Terry was part of the 25th Infantry Division and Purple Heart recipient. Terry just celebrated 50 years as a Freemason, 32nd Degree. He was a retired pipefitter from Goodyear for 35 years. During Terry's midlife, he enjoyed riding his Harley all over the U.S.A. Most of all, he enjoyed family gatherings and liked to tell anyone how many grandkids and great grandkids he had.

Terry did not want a "funeral" so we're going to have a "gathering".

He is preceded in death by sisters Carolyn, Janice, and Mary Ellen.

Terry is survived by wife Deborah, sons Steven and Aaron, stepchildren Lisa (Joel) Robinson and Jeffrey Vaughan, brother Fred, brother-in-law Leonard Zittle, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

We will gather at Adams Mason Funeral Home Thursday September 14, 2023, at 10:30am to 12:30pm. Following the gathering, interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery at 1:45pm to 2:15pm in Seville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations to Wounded Warrior Project, Humane Society, or St. Jude Hospital.
