Thomas Raymond Rygiel

Thomas Raymond Rygiel passed away June 14, 2023.

Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph and Betty, brothers, Raymond and Richard, sister Beverly, brother-in-law John. He is survived by his sister Darlene, and former sister-in-law Judy. He was “UT” to nieces and nephews Sharon (Randy), Joe, Kim (Don), Randy (Chris), Stacy (Rene), Russell, Ryan, and Chad (deceased). He was great uncle to 11, great-great uncle to 5 nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to many.

Tom honorably served our country as a member of the Armed Services.  He was talented and had multiple careers. Tom had a knack for doing things his own way, giving advice to all who would listen, all the while remaining steadfast, loving, and confident in his beliefs. Fond of calling loved ones “Darlin”, Tom was fun to be with, and “ya know”, he always brought the cheer to any gathering.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Trauma ICU staff of Summa Health System – Akron Campus.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, 2:00 – 4:00 PM,
