Timothy Carl Fagerstrom

Timothy C. Fagerstrom, 59, passed away April 3, 2023.  He was born December 18, 1963 in Barberton, the son of the late Bert and Eleanor Fagerstrom.  Tim went to state in wrestling from Manchester High School in 1982 and later graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in Social Work, and he served as a social worker in many capacities through the years.  Tim will always be remembered as a man who was devoted to his family and a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church.  In his free time, he loved going out to eat with his family, swimming, and rooting for his kids at their sporting events.  He was always there for his family.  Tim was a history buff and was an avid reader of the Bible.  Tim believed that salvation is a free gift, available to anyone that believes in Jesus.  

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his sister Jeanne Archer.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Melinda; sons Carl Fagerstrom, Caleb (Savannah) Fagerstrom, and Curtis Fagerstrom; daughter Eleanor Fagerstrom; granddaughter Miriam; brother David (Vicky) Fagerstrom; sister Susan (Mark) Shannon; as well as a host of family and friends.  Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Concordia Lutheran Church (724 Sumner Street), where funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.  Arrangements entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home (330) 535-9186
