Virginia L (Ginny) Harrouff (Hines)

Virginia was called home to be with the Lord on April 8^th, 2024.  She passed away peacefully with her loving daughter Kathy by her side after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. 

She was born on July 28^th 1936 in Tippecanoe Ohio to Halstead and Nellie Hines both from  Tippecanoe Ohio.  Virginia spent most of her adult life in the Barberton/Akron area with her husband Denzil (Slim) Harrouff along with her two children Kathy and Rick.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Grimes (Halsey).  Daughter in law Diane Riffle (Engstrom). Niece Hilda Lowe and Sherry Crane and many other nieces and nephews.  She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren along with her sister Annabelle Huston (Hines).

She is preceeded in death by husband Denzil Harrouff, Ricky L. Engstrom (son), Ricky L. Engstrom Jr. (grandson).  Halstead and Nellie Hines (parents), Robert and William Hines (brothers) and her partner of the last 28 years, Jerry Roberts.

Her final resting place will be Greenmount Union Cemetery in Freeport Ohio.   Burial and gravesite service to be held later this summer.  T.B.A.
