Wanda L. Blanchard

Wanda L. Blanchard, 80, passed away May 16, 2023.  She was born March 16, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of the late Jack and Ethel McGuire.  In 1966, she married Larry J. Blanchard and together they shared 57 years of marriage.  In her earlier years, Wanda worked as a nursing assistant.  She will always be remembered as a person who was devoted to her family.  Spending time with them brought her joy.  She also loved her dogs.  In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jean Hodoval in 2015.  She is survived by her loving husband Larry; son Brian (Melanie) Blanchard; grandchildren Libby Blanchard and Bria (Jonathon) Kessel; and her great grandchildren Adalynn and Iyla.  Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends at 3:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 E.
