William Edward Christian Sr.

William E. Christian Sr., age 72 of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday August 16th, 2025.

He was born on October 28th, 1952, in Wooster Ohio, to parents James E. Christian and Sarah (Hammond) Christian. Bill was active in FFA and Vo-Ag programs up until 1970 when he graduated from Loudonville High School. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Patricia in 1973. Bill had a love and passion for the boy scouts of America program where he spent 20 years. He held various leadership positions within the troop, including scout master, assistant scout master and camp ranger.

Bill is survived by his sons: Bill Jr. (Summer) Christian, Jeff Christian, Jim (Jen) Christian and Krystal Duncan (ex-wife to Jeff), who bill loved like a daughter. His grandchildren: Casey, Layne, Cory, Gracie, Shandell, Sidnee, Sairra, Skylar, Jarrett, Tori, Cyrus, Emma and Maya, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Barmann, his brother-in-law James Barmann along with many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia Christian, sister Sandra Lavengood and great-granddaughter. “A loving father, tender and kind, what a beautiful memory you left behind.”

The celebration will be at a later date and time.
